All About Me

I am a certified aromatherapist, wife, and mother of 3

I became passionate about using essential oils after my first pregnancy. I had dabbled a little bit but had never really got into them because at the time all I knew was the MLM companies and they were far too expensive for me to justify purchasing. After some tumultuous experiences with essential oils, and many marketing lies, I began to realize that the advice being pushed about aromatherapy was extremely divided and often wrong.

I began by taking a few online courses with no certification attached just to get my feet wet. I loved those classes and further pursued an aromatherapy certification through AromaHut. I recently finished my course after a year of working and also being a SAHM. I finished the course a few weeks before the birth of my second baby and began to think about what I wanted to do with my certification.

I discovered a passion for working with pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and babies when I utilized essential oils in my pregnancy and birth. After spending time online in the essential oil world, I saw some very scary recommendations, especially with pregnancy. I became passionate about sharing safe and effective aromatherapy tips. My main goal is to ensure other people are using essential oils safely so that they can get the best results. I decided I would also further my aromatherapy education to provide the best safety so I am continuing to take courses and read the best safety books on aromatherapy. Currently, I am working towards my clinical aromatherapy certification.

From there, my brand Holisticary Aromatherapy was born, dedicated to providing the best safety information and products for families, children, and pregnancy/breastfeeding. I also continue to share free safety information on my social media because I firmly believe that safety information should not be too difficult to come by or cost a pretty penny. I am also dedicated to finding and creating trustworthy brands for all things natural, as someone who was lied to when using natural products I know that it can be overwhelming to find products that are safe for the whole family. You can see my favorite products, the ingredients that I use, and my Aromatherapy certification on my website because I believe transparency is the best policy. I will always be honest about what I use to make all of my products and where I am in my education.

Ingredients That You Can Trust

My goal at Holisticary Aromatherapy is to provide quality products with quality ingredients. I source from trusted sites and ensure that everything I use is beneficial and necessary to the products. I don’t hide anything about my ingredients and everything is handmade and/or made to order to ensure you are getting the best. Here is what I use in our products and why I use them. If you have questions feel free to contact me.

Pure Essential Oils

I use 100% pure essential oils to create aromatherapy products that are not only high quality but also work. I spend hours working on creating the perfect blends and products just for you.

Carrier oils

Carrier oils help to dilute essential oils, they are used in a variety of the products I make from lotions to balms. I use a variety of carrier oils as each one has different beneficial properties. different benefiting properties.

Emulsifiers/Preservatives

Emulsifiers help to bind the essential oils to water-based products. I currently use a natural solubl in our products so that I can provide a safely formulated product while still keeping it natural. I also use a natural preservative in our water-based products, ensuring that the product is up to our standard while still providing a more natural product for you.

Hydrosols

Some water-based products are enhanced by hydrosols rather than using water. This helps to elevate the product, make it smell nicer, and bring together a unique product unlike any other. Hydrosol products tend to be more expensive so I do not offer them often.

Raw ingredients:

Some products might use raw ingredients such as salts, sugars, or body butters. I use these ingredients to create an array of products from bath salts to body butters.

Beeswax

Beeswax is used to thicken most products, from lotions to balms.
